Counselling for Adults and Teenagers

An Opportunity to Explore Thoughts and Feelings

empathetic, non-Judgemental counselling

Thank you for visiting my website. I am a fully qualified Counsellor working in the Epsom & Coulsdon areas. I have a particular interest in assisting people suffering from depression, anxiety, trauma and working with teenagers.

Many of us have times in our lives when we need help to address certain issues and difficulties past and present, which we may find overwhelming and distressing. Counselling can help us find our way through these challenges. It can provide us with a safe place to use the time for whatever is deemed important. Counselling can help to identify repeated behaviour patterns which may be restricting us and preventing us from reaching our full potential.

I aim to provide an opportunity to explore thoughts and feelings which may be causing emotional distress, and offers this in a confidential, caring and private environment. My approach is to be non-judgmental, professional, supportive and empathetic and to work with you with whatever may be restricting you.

I have worked in private practice, the NHS (both in Hospitals and GP surgeries) colleges, a number of charities and for a number of counselling projects including a teenage counselling project. This has given me the experience of working with both adults and teenagers to explore a wide variety of presenting issues including working with suicidal feelings, child abuse and depression.

Additionally, I provide empathetic, non-judgemental counselling for non-offending family and friends of people affected by internet offending. I draw from professional experience and knowledge in this area and appreciate the challenges involved.

I am a member of the BACP, which is The British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy. I am a qualified and fully insured counsellor with a BSc Degree in integrative counselling and I have undertaken additional training for the protection and safeguarding of children.
